Regional Account, Budget Nomenclature and Gender-Based Budgets Training.

General Objective. To show the relationship between the Regional Accounts, the budget nomenclature and Gender-based budgets.  

Specific Objective. By the end of the presentation participants should be able to;

i) Identify and distinguish the statutory list of accounts of the Region as harmonised with their budget nomenclature.

ii.Identify the phases and actors in the making and accounting for the Regional Budget.

iii.Distinguish between a gender neutral and a gender sensitive budge

DG3 founder giving an introductory statement in the video below in a workshop training session titled ” The Regional Account, The Budget Nomenclature and Gender Budgets”. With an objective to strengthen the capacity of regional councillors and the executives of the North West regional Assembly of Cameroon, on how to identify and integrate the needs, interest and priority of the disadvantaged social categories ( women, youths, and people with disabilities) in the making and accounting for the regional budget. With practical examples from their 2023 & 24 budgets, administrative and management accounts, participants were drilled on the statutory budget nomenclature and structure of these financial policy tools to enhance accountability and financial governance for a sustainable and inclusive development within the North West region.
